A Superficial Fare Well & Goodby

Before I proceed, I must state my stand that this entry is not meant for personal attacks. It fact, because I treated you as a friend of mine, this is something that I wanted to tell you after few nights of thinkings and wonderings. I'm not taking any sides but I'm taking my own status as an out-going board of director and a friend to say all this, consciously.I'm not refering this matter as ONE-SIDED , generally but instead it's meant for ALL.Farewell is defined as a party given to a person who is about to embark on a long journey, retire, leave an organization, etc. Source from dictionary.com (click it, if you ponder).

CUT OFF THE STORYLINES. PEOPLE WHO ATTEND THE NIGHT WILL KNOW EXACTLY WHAT HAPPENED AND WHAT GOT ON THEIR NERVES. SERIOUSLY, THERE MUST BE SOMETHING WRONG IF ONE ISN'T REALLY FLATTERED BY SOMETHING ELSE. EVERYBODY HAS EYES TO WITNESS, NO HOAX WOULD BE CREATED IF NO SUCH THINGS ARISE, AY ????????


The thing that made the old board of directors not being fully comfortable at the event is that, we don't feel that it's a farewell party.

ps : most of you may have thought that we aren't happy because of the excessively expensive amount of paying for the mere night ? the RM 10 ? MATA DUITAN ?!

ps : most of you may have thought that we aren't happy because of the missed part of appreciation ?

But maybe the parties that I went before is being fully serviced and they obeyed their own theme, as in "House Warming", "Farewell Party", "Welcoming Party", "Year-End Party", "Birthday Party". Despited the word P.A.R.T.Y .. each is a different PARTY. Agree people ???

I indulge myself into the BBQ session, I BBQ the food myself and I believe not just me. I was being happy that night. But literally of course I got influenced by the mood of my fellow mates that night ... The guys don't know how to set up fire to BBQ, and still want to conduct BBQ party. The time was drastically dragged to set everything up. When we got there, things were just about to be set up despite listening to some telling me that they arrived at 5pm.

A : I thought outsiders are disallowed to attend this event. Why ask them ?
B : Because nobody knows how to do BBQ ....
** then why the BBQ party ?

M : Why so late haven't set up and until now everyone's doing their own business chit-chatting?N : I don't know .. I arrived at 5pm, and nothing is set up.
** 5pm ? I went there 7.30pm lea .... nothing set up also haha

Y : We told the teacher that we collected the money alrd but in fact....
** Big time, guys ...

This is not things I would SPECIFICALLY love to pin-point. But, you got to work things off, people ! When the going gets tough, the tough gets going ...I, myself was a chairperson for previous year's farewell party with a NEGATIVE ACCOUNT left for us. We managed to do a party really to farewell the old boards, adding up with buffet services, games provided, souvenirs given not just to old boards but to actively participated helpers and members of interact club, managed to invite 3 rotarians, an ex-interactor, an interactor from Sandakan, NO OUTSIDERS, even boyfriend/girlfriend. The party could be carried on like that.

Might as well I add in, we even paid RM 8-10 extra because of empty account, & as a tribute to old boards.Even so, our board of directors even get to "ta pau" home with the excessive leftovers , and we got POSITIVE FEEDBACKS from our fellow old board of directors after the event with notes, messages, and msn. Mdm. Velerie, Rtn Mattias, Rtn Dixon Kong, Ms Hong, Ms Lai was noted that it was a succcessful event after all :D that happened to be the most delightful things to hear when you did an event. Good feedbacks are always flattering after all those hardworks, asking one-by-one inviting the old boards to be present that night, making sure every board of directors attend the night. Lucky you guys, our old bod wasnt willing to pay to attend to that event despite the negative account they left us ... After negotiating, tolerating, I was about to give up the event, they tolerated by paying a little lesser. That's the toughest throughout the event, I must say. All stand firm, none will fall. Unity is the best, we all made it through (;

Well, what to say ? I'm not showing off, teaching a lesson, talking bad, bad mouthing, despising the new boards, and stuff you could think of. Maybe you start hating me now for these. Well, I'm just telling my mind out. Each plays an important role, one shouldn't be taken blame of! It's the commitment that all should put it.

This is a democratic country. I am free to speak my mind out without touching sensitive issues like religions, the king, the country, racism. I didn't touched any of these issues so I'm in the right path people :D hahahahahahaha
